Ashes Placement/Memorialisation |
||
Once a cremation has taken place the family will then need to decide what they wish to do with their loved one’s ashes, this can often be a hard decision as not knowing what they would have wanted. At Poole family Holdings we present all the different possibilities for the family so that they are able to make the most informed decision possible. We will collect the ashes from the crematorium for the family and the deliver them out to them if that is required. Families can the chose to have the ashes placed or memorialised at a crematorium or cemetery; this is where the ashes can be place in a wall or scattered or buried in a garden bed or buried in a grave with another loved one. We will assist the family in organising this and organising a plaque as well as being there on the day when the ashes are interred (placed) at the crematorium or cemetery. Families can also chose to scatter the ashes in a place that may have meant something special to their loved ones; we will help by organising this for the family and ensuring we have permission from the appropriate people. Ashes can also be kept with the family in an urn or other containers as long as the container can be sealed. We have placed ashes in ceramic statues and trophies for families; they can be placed in these types of items which can mean more to families, and we try and assist by doing what the family wants. Deciding what is done with a loved one’s ashes can be very hard and we try to go that extra mile to assist families in doing exactly what they want. While a number of options have been explained here we will try and do whatever it is a family wants, if they can come up with something new or different we will be more than happy to meet their needs. |
