A burial is a service when one’s remains are placed in a coffin and then interned in the ground in a burial site at a cemetery. Historically burial was the only choice for a funeral and in the present day it is still quite popular with a site available for a family to revisit after the service.
Kenton Ross Funerals’ Burial service includes:
- In home visit by one of our staff to arrange funeral
- Arrangement of flowers
- Organising the press notice
- Contacting and organising a celebrant/clergy
- All other arrangements necessary including an organist or refreshments
- Organisation of venue(s)
- Notification to the registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages
- Preparation of all necessary paperwork
- Transfer from the place of death to our premises
- Preparation of deceased for viewing
- Production of a personalised memorial book
- Staff and hearse on the day of the service
After the service:
- We can assist with plaque arrangements
- Organising a certified copy of the death certificate to be sent out
- Any other assistance you may require
