A cremation is a service when one’s remains are cremated with their coffin and the ashes are collected and are available for the family. A cremation service can take place at the crematorium or at any other venue the coffin is taken to the crematorium. A cremation allows the family to have their loved ones remains memorialised in a myriad of ways.

Kenton Ross Funerals’ Cremation service includes:

  • In home visit by one of our staff to arrange funeral
  • We arrange flowers, press notice and celebrant/clergy to take service
  • All other arrangements necessary including an organist or refreshments
  • Organisation of venue(s)
  • Notification to the registry of births, deaths and marriages
  • Preparation of all necessary paperwork
  • Transfer from the place of death to our premises
  • Preparation of deceased for viewing
  • Production of a personalised memorial book
  • Staff and hearse on the day of the service

 

After the service:

  • Collection of ashes from crematorium placing in our care.
  • Assistance in organising ashes placement or scattering
  • Organising a certified copy of the death certificate to be sent out
  • Any other assistance you may require
  • We maintain the ashes until we receive instruction from the family
